The Dream Team

The only unsinkable ship, is FRIENDSHIP. 2E4, class of 07', they may be just a class to everyone else, but in my eyes they're the dream team. Throughout my years in school, I've been in many great classes, but this one is special. I'm not in this class, but I've seen how they interact well with each other, back up one another at troubled times, and most importantly, unite as a class. Thought they may not see it themselves, the signs of a great class are obvious.

Unlike other classes of the same stream and level, 2e4 is the most likeliest to stand out. There is this special connection they all share, it keeps them harmonized as one. Similar classes such as 2e1 and 2e2 aren't as closely bonded. You might disagree with this, but whether or not the class is a tight group, I've seen these guys at school, they're much closer than they think they are. From what I've seen, they don't seem to have any difficulty getting along at all.

What makes a great class? Three things: A common bond, a sense of belonging, and a class spirit to stay as one. Students of 2e4 work well together despite their various differences. They cheer for one another as their classmates go on stage, perform and also at basketball. Though they too have small yet popular cliques such as Street 24 and 7 Musketeers (24/7 :P), 2e4 students are very open to one another and if possible, no one should be feeling left out. It's not just the things people say about the class, it's the things they do AS a class, that sustain and enhance their relationship as a group.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if every class would be as animated and as merry as this class? If war broke out amongst the classes, I'd place my bets on 2e4 as the victors. Some classes, take my class 3e1 for example, not all of us are as friendly and sociable. We prefer doing our own things, in tiny cliques or just mix around with the same group of people everyday. Some even prefer to be total loners. I'm happy with my class, but to me I think we’ve yet to be as tight as 2e4.

People like me, I long to be in a pleasant class where it's easy to get along with everyone, but every year, it's the same old thing. Students of 2E4, consider yourselves extremely lucky to have your classmates by your side throughout the year. Coz the only thing you'd look forward to in school is to have great friends who would share those memorable experiences in school with you.

The dream team, it's fun getting to know them and watch them get into mischief. Looking at them makes me understand and appreciate the friends I have now, and realize how important it is for a class to BE a class and stay that way as long as possible. The best of friends will have to part one day, and next year, this dream team would have to break up. So treasure your memories and experiences as a class, all good things will have to come to an end.

One last thing, crowned best Sec2 class in 07? It's pretty clear who the winner is, isn't it?
